Operations Efficiency in Services Sector

Managing Mergers

As a Director with a company implementing a merger, one of the Rock River Solutions Principals managed a team of more than 100 technical specialists in two companies to implement a merger resulting in $9 million savings of operating costs.  The professional expertise applied by Rock River Solutions helped the two companies to consolidate software licenses, develop the right IT infrastructure and staffing plans.  This migration included 21 applications driving $16 million in spending over a 12 month period of time.

Transportation and Logistics

Working in conjunction with the President and CFO of a transportation logistics company, Rock River Solutions developed process improvements to both the order flow and vendor payables processes resulting in a reduction of working capital affecting the cash flow planning of the start-up venture.  This included developing a sophisticated working capital model to manage funds from the investor.  In addition, Rock River Solutions acted as an interim executive managing the Accounts Payable function to implement the identified improvements.
